Senior Software Engineer

The project focuses on developing and enhancing mission-critical eDiscovery software used by legal teams worldwide. The Senior Software Engineer will build scalable .NET/C# solutions backed by PostgreSQL, develop new features, maintain production systems, and resolve technical issues. The role also involves automated testing, daily use of AI development tools, code reviews, and collaboration with other engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions using .NET/C# and PostgreSQL.
• Build and implement new features from concept through production.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the technology stack.
• Use AI development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
• Ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability of production systems.
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across different time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development using .NET/C#.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query performance.
• Experience building and supporting scalable systems.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Hands-on experience using AI development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. (B2)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams across different time zones.
• Availability to work onsite in Mexico City for the first 1–2 weeks, and afterward remotely with occasional onsite attendance as needed.

Condiciones

Work Arrangement: Candidates will be required to work onsite during the first 1–2 weeks of onboarding. After this period, the position will be remote, with availability to work from the Mexico City office whenever needed.
